Salem Weld Mesh takes a distinctive approach to broiler farming by introducing a two-house cage system: Starter Cagesfor the initial weeks and Finisher Cages for the later stages of growth. This system is carefully designed to address the varying needs of broilers at different growth phases, ensuring optimal space, comfort, and productivity throughout the rearing process.
The Starter Cages provide a controlled environment suited for chicks, emphasizing proper spacing, warmth, and easy access to feed and water to promote healthy early development. Once the birds grow, they are shifted to the Finisher Cages, offering them ample room for growth, efficient waste management, and ease of harvesting.

Optimal Cage System for Nurturing Broiler Chicks
This house is used to nurture Broiler chicks aged 0-12 weeks of age. The feet of the chicks are one of its most delicate parts. Thus, this system has a bottom mesh designed in a way that does not affect the birds’ feet. It is also compatible with cage mats to protect the delicate feet of birds. The cages are designed with about xx cubic centimetres of space for each bird as per the international laws. Each cage has a dimension of nn x nn x nn cms allowing free airflow and feed management.

With an increased space per bird, it allows them to move around freely and witnesses a nominal increase in body weight.The finisher cages have mechanical doors and semi-automated feeding systems and water systems. It can be customised according to the requirements of the customer.
